1. Depart from the UK arriving into Kilimanjaro, overnight in Arusha.
2. Early morning flight to Katavi National Park.
3 & 4. Safari activities.
5. Fly to Mahale Mountains Nationa Park.
6 - 8. Safari activities including chimpanzee tracking, snorkelling, hikes.
9. Fly back to Arusha and overnight at lodge.
10. Depart Tanzania.
11. Arrive back in the UK.

The endless floodplains, together with palm-fringed Lake Chada and Lake Katavi boast a rich list of over 400 bird species, plus a huge concentration of hippos and crocodiles, not to mention the exciting prospect of spotting the 'Big Five'.
Scenic Mahale Mountains National Park could almost give you the feeling of being transported to an uninhabited Indian Ocean island, the white sandy beaches of Lake Tanganyika with a backdrop of the mountain slopes; make this one of Tanzania's most beautiful parks. A diverse forest fauna and flora, including troops of red colobus, red-tailed and blue monkeys and a population of some 800 chimpanzees, Mahale feels like a hidden sanctuary forgotten by man - and long may it remain that way.
