After a photo stop at historic Skippers Bridge continue on to the abandoned township of Skippers, where many of the old original buildings remain, perfect for exploration. Refreshments are served at the old school house before starting your journey back to Queenstown stopping to try your luck panning for gold at Deep Creek, allegedly one of the richest gold bearing rivers in the world!
