Day 1. Reykjavik
Arrive in Iceland and transfer to Reykjavik stopping at the famous Blue Lagoon on the way to relax in the thermal waters.
Day 2. Vík
Leaving the city behind today you will discover the delights of Geysir and Gullfoss before heading to the South Coast. Witness the majestic Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls and the abundant birdlife at Dyrhólaey before arriving in Vík.
Day 3. Höfn
Today cross the vast Eldhraun lava fields as you journey to Skaftafell National Park and visit the stunning Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon.
Day 4. Egilsstadir
Admire the spectacular coastline and towering mountains as you make your way to the Eastern Fjords.
Day 5. Lake Mývatn Area
Explore the empty vastness of the highland desert plateau as you head to the Lake Mývatn area. Along the way stop at Dettifoss, Europe's most powerful waterfall and Námaskard Pass with its boiling mud pools and vibrant colours. Lake Mývatn is home to a huge and diverse bird population and entrance is included to Sigurgeirs Bird Museum, considered to be the largest known private bird collection in Iceland.
Day 6. Akureyri
Today will take you to the bustling northern port of Akureyri making a stop at the magnificent Godafoss waterfall and Laufas Folk Museum en-route. The North of Iceland is one of the best places to whale watch and there will be an opportunity to join a whale watching tour today.
Day 7. Borgarnes
Majestic mountains and narrow passes lead to Skagafjördur where today you will be treated to a unique Icelandic horse show before crossing the Holtavörduheidi plateau through Borgarfjördur and on to the beautiful town of Borgarnes.
Day 8. Reykjavik
Discover some of Iceland's most beautiful natural wonders as you make your way back to Reykjavik today. Witness the power hot spring Deildartunguhver, admire the beautiful Hraunfossar waterfall and visit Thingvellir, the ancient site of the world's first parliament.
Day 9. Depart Iceland.
This morning you will have time to explore Reykjavik before your transfer to the airport.
