The adventure begins on the Arctic Circle where you will spend a few days in the ‘Lapp of Luxury’ at Finland's Arctic TreeHouse Hotel. Nestled in a forest setting with stunning views over the treetops, this is the ideal place to experience the essence of Lapland, whether you choose to simply kick back and relax for a couple of days or join in some of the many winter activities available. The Arctic forest with all its adventures is right outside the door, so grab a toboggan and head to the sledging hill, traverse the trails by snowshoe or forest skis and explore further afield on a fatbike. You will reside in a Nordic designed Arctic TreeHouse Suite with incredible panoramic floor to ceiling windows that offer views to the stunning nature beyond and the Arctic night skies. Breakfast and dinner are also included with plenty of Lappish flavours to be enjoyed in Rakas Restaurant.
With the Arctic Circle ticked off your bucket list, it's time to take the short plane hop back to Helsinki where you will swap the leisurely pace of Lapland for the urban delights of the nation's capital. The elegant and stylish Hotel Haven will be home for the next few nights, ideally located by the South Harbour and Market Square. Helsinki combines urban charm with historic majesty and offers so much to see and do. By day, shop till you drop, sample fabulous flavours in an array of eateries and explore some of the many museums. By night the city bars come alive and a great evening pastime is ice skating under the stars at the outdoor Ice Rink or head sky-high for some city views on Helsinki's SkyWheel.
This holiday can be arranged in all seasons, swapping the Northern Lights for the Midnight Sun.
